Terms of Service

Terms of service for web2print.app, a service of Data Handler LLC.
Effective date: October 24, 2026
List of subprocessors

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

1.1 web2print.app (the "Service") is operated by Data Handler LLC, 573 Old Franklin Rd, Stahlstown, PA 15687, USA ("Data Handler LLC", "we", "us"). web2print.app is one of the services Data Handler LLC offers. 1.2 These terms are an agreement between Data Handler LLC and the business that holds a web2print.app workspace (the "Customer", "you"). The person who accepts them on the Customer's behalf confirms that they are at least 18 years old and are authorized to bind the Customer. 1.3 You accept these terms when you create an account, buy a license, accept an invitation to a workspace, or use the Service, including through the API or the desktop app. If you have a separate written agreement with us (for example an Enterprise agreement or a signed order), that agreement wins where it differs from these terms. 1.4 The Service is sold to businesses for business use. It is not offered to consumers for personal, family or household use. 1.5 Our Privacy Policy and our List of subprocessors are part of these terms.

2. Words used in these terms

2.1 Workspace: your company's space in the Service. It holds your templates, files, inboxes, Drive, members, licenses, API keys and settings. 2.2 Owner, admins and members: the owner is the person who created the workspace. Owners and admins manage members, licenses, billing, API keys and webhooks. Members use the apps they are given. 2.3 Apps (modules): the three parts of the Service: Templates (variable-data templates and the PDFs made from them), Prepress (checking and changing incoming files) and Imposition (laying files out on press sheets). 2.4 License: a paid, one-year right to use one or more apps at a tier (Solo, Team, Business or Enterprise). 2.5 Allowance: the amount of billable output a license includes for each app in each license year. 2.6 Customer Content: everything you or your members put into the Service or have it make: templates, artwork, PDFs, images, fonts, color books, data files (such as CSV lists), job details, tags and fields, and every output (PDFs, proofs, previews, separations, sheets and reports).

3. Your account and workspace

3.1 Give us accurate account and billing information and keep it current. Each sign-in belongs to one named person; do not share sign-ins. Add people as members instead. 3.2 You are responsible for everything done in your workspace by your members, your API keys, your paired computers and the integrations you connect, and for removing access when someone leaves. 3.3 Keep passwords, backup codes, API keys and webhook signing secrets secret. Tell us at support@web2print.app as soon as you suspect one has been exposed or your workspace has been used without permission. 3.4 A sign-in stays active for 24 hours from the moment it is made, then you are asked to sign in again. You can see your active sign-ins and sign out any of them in Settings, Security. 3.5 Two-step sign-in by text message is optional and off by default. Each person can turn it on in Settings, Security. When it is on, we text a one-time code after the password. Section 4 of the Privacy Policy explains these texts and how to stop them. 3.6 We may refuse to open an account, or close one opened with false information, at our discretion.

4. The Service

4.1 The Service runs in a web browser (the studio). It also offers a REST API, webhooks and a desktop app that pairs a computer to your workspace. Which apps and features you can use depends on your licenses. 4.2 Files are processed by render workers that Data Handler LLC operates, on Amazon Web Services or on our own hardware, in the USA. 4.3 We keep improving the Service and may change, add or remove features. We will not materially reduce the core function of an app you have paid for during your current license year. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can. 4.4 We work to keep the Service available at all times but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation unless we agree a service level in writing. We may pause the Service for maintenance, and we try to do so outside normal US business hours and to give notice for planned work. 4.5 The Service does not use artificial intelligence. Packing, ranking, preflight checks, separations and every other result are produced by deterministic software. See section 10.4.

5. Licenses and prices

5.1 Licenses are sold for one year at a time. There are no monthly plans, no free plan and no free trial. 5.2 Current list prices and what each tier includes, per license per year:
Per year Solo Team Business Enterprise
One app$1,000$3,000$5,000By agreement
Two apps$1,800$5,400$9,000By agreement
All three apps (Suite)$2,500$7,500$12,000By agreement
Templates allowance (PDF pages)5,00025,00075,000By agreement
Prepress allowance (PDF pages)5,00025,00075,000By agreement
Imposition allowance (approved runs)2,50010,00025,000By agreement
Concurrent users1510By agreement
API and webhooksNoYesYesBy agreement
Storage100 GB300 GB1 TBBy agreement
5.3 An allowance applies only to the apps the license includes. Enterprise licenses are agreed in writing with our sales team, and their price, allowances and terms are those stated in that agreement. 5.4 Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes. You pay any sales, use or similar taxes that apply, other than taxes on our income. Prices for a license year are fixed when that year starts. We may change list prices for future license years; a new price applies to your license from its next renewal, and we will tell you before that renewal. 5.5 A workspace may hold several licenses. Their allowances, concurrent users and storage add up, per app. API and webhooks are available when any active license includes them. Each license keeps its own term and renewal date, and its share drops off when it ends.

6. Allowances, concurrent users and storage

6.1 What counts. Only finished PDF output counts against an allowance: PDF pages made by Templates, PDF pages made by Prepress changes, and approved runs in Imposition. Previews, proofs, images, downloads and file checks do not count. Work that fails because of a fault on our side is never counted. Work that fails because of the file you supplied (for example a missing font) may count once. 6.2 Allowances reset at the start of each license year. Unused allowance does not carry over. 6.3 Going past an allowance. We do not stop your work when you reach an allowance. Renders, the studio and the API keep running so your production day is not interrupted, and we do not charge per-page or per-run overage fees for that use. We will tell you by email and on your dashboard as your use passes the allowance, and a representative may contact you about the right license. If use continues past the allowance after that notice, we may restrict billable output in that app (for example, limit how many renders can be started per hour) until you upgrade or the license year renews. Previews, proofs, downloads and other free actions are never restricted. Upgrading lifts a restriction straight away. 6.4 Concurrent users is the number of people, windows, desktop apps and API sessions that can work in the workspace at the same moment, not the number of members you may invite. When every seat is in use, the next person is offered the choice to take a seat over (ending the other session) or to upgrade. 6.5 Storage is the total size of everything in your Drive, including previews and proofs we keep for your files and items in Trash until they are deleted for good. An upload that would go past your storage is refused before it starts, and you are offered the choice to free up space or upgrade. 6.6 Other limits (for example a member using an app the workspace has no license for, or creating an API key on a license without API) are refused with an explanation and a way to upgrade.

7. Upgrades, downgrades and extra licenses

7.1 You can upgrade a license (a higher tier or more apps) at any time. You pay the prorated difference for the rest of the current license year, which we show you before you confirm, charged to the payment method on file. The new tier's full allowance applies at once, and what you have already used this license year counts against it. The license keeps its renewal date and renews at the new price. 7.2 A downgrade (a lower tier or fewer apps) takes effect at your next renewal. Until then you keep what you paid for. Before a downgrade takes effect, make sure your storage and members fit the smaller license; storage over the new limit blocks new uploads until you free space. 7.3 You may add further licenses to a workspace at any time. Each is a separate one-year license with its own renewal date.

8. Payment

8.1 Self-serve purchases are paid in advance for the license year by card or by US bank account (ACH debit). Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may offer to save your payment details with Stripe Link; Link is a Stripe service under Stripe's own terms. We never see or store full card numbers. 8.2 By giving us a payment method you authorize Data Handler LLC to charge it for the license you buy, for upgrades you confirm, and for each renewal until you cancel. A bank payment can take several business days to clear. If it is returned or fails after your license has started, the amount stays due. 8.3 Sales-assisted accounts. If you buy through our sales team, we may set up your workspace and licenses for you and let you pay by invoice, by check or by wire. A license paid by check starts when it is assigned, and the invoice is due on the terms printed on it. Make checks payable to Data Handler LLC and mail them to 573 Old Franklin Rd, Stahlstown, PA 15687. Pay by check is not available for self-serve purchases. 8.4 Revocation for non-payment. If a check is not received, or a check or bank payment is returned, we may end the license it paid for at once, void the open invoice, and remove that license's allowances and features. We will tell the owner by email. 8.5 Failed renewals. If a renewal charge to a card fails, we retry it once a day for up to three more attempts. If there is no payment method on file at renewal, access continues for 7 days. If payment is still not made after that, the license ends. For invoice-billed licenses, we send the renewal invoice about 30 days before the license year ends, and access continues for up to 30 days after the end date while the invoice is unpaid; after that the license ends. 8.6 Suspension. If an amount is overdue, we may suspend the licenses it relates to, after emailing the owner, until it is paid. When a license ends or is suspended, your Customer Content is kept as described in section 14. 8.7 Billing questions go to billing@web2print.app. If you think a charge is wrong, tell us within 60 days of the charge so we can look into it before you dispute it with your bank.

9. Renewal, cancellation and refunds

9.1 Self-serve licenses renew automatically for another year at the end of each license year, at the price then in effect for your tier, unless you cancel. We email a reminder a few days before each renewal. 9.2 The owner or an admin can cancel renewal at any time in Settings, Plan, or by writing to billing@web2print.app. Cancelling stops the next renewal. The license stays active until the end of the license year you have paid for and then ends. You can undo a cancellation before that date. 9.3 Invoice-billed licenses renew when the renewal invoice is paid, unless either side gives notice before the end of the license year. 9.4 Refunds: [REFUND POLICY: to be confirmed by Data Handler LLC]. Nothing in these terms limits any refund that applicable law requires.

10. Your content

10.1 You own your Customer Content. We claim no ownership of your templates, artwork, fonts, data or outputs. 10.2 You give Data Handler LLC a limited permission to store, copy, process, render, convert and display Customer Content only as needed to provide the Service to you, to keep it secure, to support you when you ask, and to meet legal duties. This permission ends when the content is deleted from the Service, apart from copies kept for the limited time described in the Privacy Policy. 10.3 We do not sell Customer Content, use it for advertising, share it with other customers, or look at it except when you ask us to (for example in a support request), when needed to keep the Service secure or working, or when the law requires. 10.4 No AI and no training. The Service contains no artificial intelligence or machine learning features. We do not use Customer Content to train, test or improve any AI or machine learning model, and we do not give it to anyone who would. 10.5 Your licenses for what you upload. You promise that you own, or hold every license needed for, all fonts, artwork, images, logos, trademarks, color books and data you upload or use in the Service, and that your use of them, and the outputs you make, do not infringe anyone's rights or break any law. Font licenses often limit how a font may be embedded, shared or used on servers; checking that your font licenses allow use in a cloud service is your responsibility. A font you upload is used only for your workspace's work. 10.6 Personal data in your content. If your content includes personal data about other people (for example names on business cards or a mailing list), you are responsible for having the right to give it to us. We process it only on your instructions, as described in the Privacy Policy. 10.7 You approve what you print. The Service helps you check and prepare files, but it does not replace your own proofing. You are responsible for checking outputs before you print, ship or deliver them. Results depend on the files and settings you supply. 10.8 Keep your own copies. The Service is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. 10.9 Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you. This does not give us any right to your Customer Content.

11. Acceptable use

11.1 You must not, and must not let anyone else: (a) upload or produce content that is illegal, that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or that is counterfeit (for example fake currency, identity documents or another company's labels passed off as genuine); (b) upload malware or files built to harm the Service or other users; (c) try to get into another workspace, test or break our security, or get around limits, seats, allowances or restrictions; (d) overload the Service, including by automated traffic beyond the API rate limits; (e) resell the Service, offer it to others as a hosted service, or share a workspace between separate businesses, unless we agree in writing; (f) copy, reverse engineer or decompile the Service or the desktop app, except as the law allows despite this restriction; or (g) use the Service to build a competing product. 11.2 We may remove or block content, or suspend access, that we reasonably believe breaks this section, and we will tell you why unless the law or a security risk prevents it. 11.3 To report content that infringes your rights, write to support@web2print.app with enough detail for us to find it.

12. API, keys, desktop app and webhooks

12.1 API access and webhooks are included with Team, Business and Enterprise licenses (and any license that lists them). The API reference at web2print.app/developers/ describes how they work. The API and webhooks are covered by these terms. 12.2 Keys. An API key acts with the rights of the workspace and the scope it is given. Keep keys on servers you control; never put them in web pages, apps you distribute or public code. Roll or revoke a key at once if it may have been exposed. You are responsible for all use of your keys. 12.3 Rate limits. Each key has a rate limit, 60 requests per minute unless a different limit is set for it. Requests over the limit are refused with a "429" answer and a time to wait. We may lower the limit for a key that harms the Service, and will tell you if we do. Work started through the API counts against your allowances and seats like work started in the studio. 12.4 Desktop app. A computer is paired to your workspace with a short-lived code made in the studio by a signed-in person. Each paired computer gets its own key, which acts as that person until the computer is removed. Owners and admins can see and remove every paired computer, and a removed computer's key stops working straight away. Remove a computer that is lost, sold or no longer used. 12.5 Webhooks. We send event notices to the HTTPS addresses you register, signed with that endpoint's secret. Verify the signature before you act on a delivery. Your server should answer within 10 seconds with a success code. We retry failed deliveries up to six attempts in all over several hours, and the same event may arrive more than once, so ignore events you have already handled. You can see recent deliveries and their results in Settings and through the API. Webhooks are a convenience: do not rely on them alone for anything critical; the API and the event feed are the record. The event feed keeps events for 30 days. 12.6 We may change the API. We will try to keep existing versions working and give reasonable notice before removing anything an integration depends on, except where a change is needed for security or legal reasons.

13. Privacy and security

13.1 Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it and who processes it for us. Your data is hosted in the USA. 13.2 We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Service and your Customer Content. If we learn of a security incident that affects your data, we will tell the workspace owner without undue delay, as described in the Privacy Policy. 13.3 We use the subprocessors on our List of subprocessors to run the Service and update that list before we add a new one.

14. Ending, suspension and your data

14.1 You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling renewal (section 9). 14.2 We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if a payment is overdue (section 8), if needed to stop harm to the Service or others, or if the law requires. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. 14.3 When all licenses in a workspace have ended, the apps are no longer available, but the workspace and its Customer Content are kept so that you can sign in, renew and pick up where you left off. While you can sign in, you can download your files from Drive. You can ask us at any time to delete the whole workspace, as described in the Privacy Policy. 14.4 Sections 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21, and any amounts owed, survive the end of this agreement.

15. Confidentiality

15.1 Each party will keep the other's non-public business information it receives through the Service confidential, use it only for this agreement, and protect it with at least reasonable care. This does not cover information that is public through no fault of the receiving party, that it already had or developed independently, or that it must disclose by law (after giving notice where allowed).

16. Warranty disclaimer

16.1 We will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and Data Handler LLC disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free or that outputs will be free of defects. 16.2 We are not responsible for printing results, press or material costs, or delivery delays that come from files, settings or approvals you supply, or from equipment, software or services outside our control.

17. Limitation of liability

17.1 To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, loss of goodwill, reprints or wasted materials, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, even if told they were possible. 17.2 To the fullest extent the law allows, each party's total liability arising from or related to this agreement is limited to the fees you paid to Data Handler LLC for the Service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. 17.3 These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, to either party's indemnity obligations under section 18, to a breach of section 11 by you, or to liability that cannot be limited by law.

18. Indemnity

18.1 You will defend Data Handler LLC and its members, employees and contractors against any third-party claim arising from your Customer Content (including fonts, artwork and data you did not have the right to use), from outputs you produce or distribute, or from your breach of section 11, and you will pay the damages, costs and reasonable legal fees finally awarded or agreed in settlement. 18.2 We will defend you against any third-party claim that the Service itself, as we provide it, infringes that party's intellectual property rights, and pay the damages and costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement. This does not cover claims caused by your Customer Content, by combining the Service with things we did not provide, or by use that breaks these terms. If such a claim arises, we may change the Service so it does not infringe, get you the right to keep using it, or end the affected license and refund the unused part of its fee. 18.3 The party asking for defense must tell the other promptly, let it control the defense and settlement (no settlement may admit fault for the protected party without its consent), and give reasonable help.

19. Governing law and disputes

19.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of [GOVERNING STATE: to be confirmed by Data Handler LLC], USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. 19.2 Before starting any formal proceeding, the parties will try in good faith to settle a dispute informally. Write to support@web2print.app with a description of the problem; we will do the same with the workspace owner. Either party may start proceedings if the dispute is not settled within 30 days. 19.3 Disputes will be decided by [VENUE AND DISPUTE FORUM (courts or arbitration, and location): to be confirmed by Data Handler LLC]. Either party may seek urgent court relief to protect its intellectual property or confidential information anywhere.

20. Changes to these terms

20.1 We may update these terms. For a material change we will email the workspace owner and show a notice in the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required sooner by law or for security. Price changes follow section 5.4. 20.2 If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel renewal before it takes effect; if the change would materially reduce your rights during a license year you have already paid for, you may instead end the affected license and [REFUND POLICY: to be confirmed]. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it. 20.3 The current version is always at web2print.app/terms/, with a log of changes at the end.

21. General

21.1 Neither party is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, power or internet failures, or failures of providers outside its control, other than payment obligations. 21.2 You may not transfer this agreement or your workspace to someone else without our written consent, except to a company that takes over all or substantially all of your business, after telling us. We may transfer it to a company that takes over the Service. 21.3 We may use subcontractors and service providers to perform this agreement and remain responsible for them. 21.4 We send notices to the owner's email address and through the Service. Send notices to us at support@web2print.app, or by mail to Data Handler LLC, 573 Old Franklin Rd, Stahlstown, PA 15687. 21.5 If a provision of this agreement cannot be enforced, the rest still applies, and that provision is applied as closely to its intent as the law allows. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. 21.6 This agreement (with the Privacy Policy, the List of subprocessors and any written order or Enterprise agreement) is the whole agreement between the parties about the Service and replaces earlier discussions. Terms in your purchase orders do not apply. The parties are independent contractors.
